Our purpose

We work with others to improve the lives of the most vulnerable children and young people in the UK, so they are safe, healthy, happy and learning.

Our current priorities are:

  • Care experienced children and young people, and on the edge of care (and those who can help make the most positive difference in their lives)
  • Children under 5 (including the first 1001 days) in families and communities facing the toughest challenges

Every child needs people around them to help create the best start in life. People to love them and to build the confidence, skills and resilience they will need to be ready for the future. For those living in the toughest circumstances, this investment from family, friends, teachers and other supportive adults, is imperative.
