Welcome from the KPMG Foundation's Chief Executive, Judith McNeill

Welcome to the KPMG Foundation, dedicated to improving the lives of some of the UK's most vulnerable children.

Our charity is now 20 years old and there has never been a more critical time to invest in the wellbeing of the most vulnerable people in our society. The COVID crisis has exposed the disadvantage gap more starkly than ever – in education, in health and more widely in communities – but it has also shone a light on mutual support, the kindness of strangers and a willingness to reach out to others.

We are proud of the charities we work with. Since March, they have been adapting their services rapidly, to support families, schools and young people. Working with toddlers to teens and beyond, often from the most troubled backgrounds, their commitment and innovation has been inspiring. All of them are passionate about what they do. And so are we.

We want to play our part in envisioning new ways of working, alongside our charity partners, as well as with KPMG partners and colleagues. We all share a commitment to investing in people, wherever, whenever and however the greatest impact can be made – and crucially sustained over the long term. No quick fixes, no silver bullets, but a concerted and collaborative effort, to help the most vulnerable children be ready for a better future.
